Note
TheTransceiverUnitmustbemountedasacompleteunit.The
doormustnotbeopeneduntiltheunitissecurelyfastenedto
thebulkhead.
BeforeyoumounttheTransceiverUnit,observethatthedistance
betweentheHullUnitandtheTransceiverUnitisrestrictedby
theexibletransducercablejoiningthetwo.Remembertotake
intoconsiderationtheslacknecessarytolowerthetransducer.

o n o t fastenthetransducercabletotheTransceiverUnituntil
describedlaterinthestart-upprocedure.

Theinstallationshipyardmustprovideallnecessaryinstallation
drawings,andifrequired,thesemustbeapprovedbythe
applicableauthorities.

Observethefollowingprocedure.Toensurecorrectoperation,
tickoffeveryitemwhentheactionhasbeencarriedout.

Removethetwomountingbracketswhicharefastened
totheshockabsorbersontheTransceiverUnit.
•UsetheAllenkeyfoundintheplasticbagfastenedto
theuppershockabsorber.

Weldthemountingbracketssecurelytothebulkhead.

UseachainfallorsimilardevicetolifttheTransceiver
Unitintopositionandboltittothemountingbrackets.
