5. Insert test cord in insertion tube sleeve and in flaps of universal
cord port of control handle boots "A" and "B" (see Figure 4-28). Let
test cord extend approximately 51 mm (2") outside of universal
cord port (see Figure 4-28). Close control handle boots and latch.
6. Manually rotate spray arms on chamber ceiling and under
endoscope processing support to ensure they rotate freely.
7. Open Reliance CDS and verify expired Reliance dry chemistry
container is in Reliance CDS.
If not, insert expired Reliance dry chemistry container (refer to
Reliance dry chemistry package insert).
8. Close Reliance CDS and latch.
9. Push endoscope processing support back into chamber.
10. Close processor door.
11. Press DOUBLE touch pad twice to process a DOUBLE endoscope
processing cycle without washing (see S
ECTION 4.8, PROCESSING
CYCLE).
12. Let cycle proceed through HLD phase (refer to Table 5-1, Cycle
Description Chart, and S
ECTION 4.8.5, MONITORING CYCLE, for
details).
If there was only residual dry chemistry in expired Reliance dry
chemistry container, an alarm sounds and display shows:
FAULT 38: Fresh dry chemistry container not detected.
