18. If processing endoscopes without a light guide cable (model
numbers are indicated in Endoscope Quick Reference Guide),
insert a control handle boot plug into universal cord port of
control handle boot (see Figure 4-13).
19. Before closing control handle boot “A”, ensure light guide cable
from control handle boot “B” will not interfere with proper closure.
20. Close both control handle boots and clasp three latches. Clasp
middle latch first.
