2.1 Technical
Specifications
These specifications are intended to describe the technical information
located on identification nameplate (positioned behind processor, on
right side as seen from the front of processor, on electrical supply box
[refer to Figure 3-2]) of the Reliance
™ EPS Processor and to list other
relevant information.
NOTE: On the identification nameplate, the abbreviation "EPS" stands
for Endoscope Processing System.
2.1.1 Permissible
Environmental Conditions
The Reliance EPS Processor is designed to give optimal results in
an environment where maximum relative humidity is 80% for
temperatures up to 31°C (88°F), decreasing linearly to 50% relative
humidity at 40°C (104°F).
Pollution degree 2: Processor must be installed in an environment
where normally only non-conductive pollution occurs but where
occasional, temporary conductivity caused by condensation can
be expected (as determined according to International Standard
EN/IEC 61010-1, Third Edition).
Refer to Reliance dry chemistry package insert for storage
conditions.
Refer to STERIS chemical indicator for Reliance EPS package insert
for storage conditions.
2.1.2 Noise Level Equivalent Sound Pressure Level at work station (measured 1 m [36"]
away from equipment and at 1.6 m [63"] from ground: 65.4 dB [A]).
Results were determined according to ISO-37
46 1979 Standard:
Acoustics Determination of Sound Power Levels of Noise Sources
Survey Method.
2.1.3 Voltage, Amperage and
Power Consumption
The Reliance EPS Processor operates either on:
• 208 V, three-phase, 60 Hz, three-wire + PE;
• 230 V, single-phase, 50 Hz, one-wire + neutral + PE;
• 230 V, single-phase, 60 Hz, two-wire + PE;
• 400 V, three-phase, 50 Hz, three-wire + PE;
• 460 V, three-phase, 60 Hz, three-wire + PE.
• A protective ground conductor is required (Class 1 Equipment).
• Installation Category is Overvoltage II.
