4.11 Post-Processing
Checklist
The following conditions are necessary to achieve successful
processing of the endoscopes and accessory types listed in the
Endoscope Quick Reference Guide:
� Cycle is complete and printout "READY TO UNLOAD" message
verified (see S
ECTION 4.9.1, VERIFICATION 1 – PARAMETRIC
CONTROLS);
� No water is present in sump (see S
ECTION 4.9.1, VERIFICATION 1 –
PARAMETRIC CONTROLS);
� Reliance dry chemistry container and Reliance CDS are verified for
absence of solid residue (see S
ECTION 4.9.2, VERIFICATION 2 –
P
ROCESS);
� Chemical indicator is verified to confirm a complete color
change (see S
ECTION 4.9.2, VERIFICATION 2 – PROCESS);

If used, all Flow Units remained attached to the endoscope and
accessories (see
S
ECTION 4.9.3, VERIFICATION 3 – PHYSICAL
);
� All endoscopes, accessories and adaptors are removed from
endoscope processing support.
If all above items are satisfactory, the endoscope processing
cycle is complete.
4.12 Pause or Abort
Cycle
If the operator, for any reason, wants to perform a verification inside
the chamber during a cycle, the processor operation can be halted
at any time by pressing the STOP touch pad. Once interrupted,
cycle either can be resumed or not, depending on the cycle phase in
progress. This is determined automatically by the control and the
display will show appropriate message.
1. To pause a cycle in progress, press STOP touch pad once. If
cycle was in a FILLING segment when interrupted, chamber is
first drained. Display shows:

when reaching into chamber.
