4.17 Disposing of
Expired Dry Chemistry
To dispose of expired Reliance dry chemistry, run a DOUBLE
endoscope processing cycle without washing phase, and without
endoscopes.

NOTE: For a 50 Hz processor, refer to the Operator Manual Information
Supplement (P920501-322) for additional information.
IMPORTANT: For this special DOUBLE endoscope processing cycle,
test cords and insertion tube sleeves wi
th a blue dot identification must
be used in both control handle boots "A" and "B". This will maintain
sufficient pressure inside control handle boots in absence of endoscopes.
To run a DOUBLE endoscope processing cycle without washing
phase, and without endoscopes, proceed as follows:
1. Verify display shows:
2. If chamber door is not open, press UNLOCK toggle switch to
unlock processor door and open door. Printer prints:

3. Pull endoscope processing support out of chamber.
4. Open control handle boots "A" and "B". Insert one insertion tube
sleeve with a blue dot identification in insertion tube inlet of
each boot (see Figure 4-27).
