If a D-SHORT cycle has not been completed within
54 hours, processor control will be automatically locked, i.e. no
SINGLE or DOUBLE endoscope processing cycle can be started
until a D-LONG cycle is performed (see

9. Press START touch pad. Display shows:

10. Confirm endoscopes, accessories and Flow Units are not
present within endoscope processing support.
11. Press START touch pad to start D-SHORT cycle. Processor
automatically proceeds through programmed phases of
D-SHORT cycle (see Figure 6-1 for sample printout). After air
purge phase is complete, buzzer sounds and display shows:

Processor cools for 30 seconds. Then display shows:
12. Processor drains for 20 seconds. After draining phase is
completed, buzzer sounds and display shows:
13. Press UNLOCK toggle switch to unlock processor door. Open door.
14. Check debris screen for debris. Rinse screen under running
water if necessary. Rinse screen while it is still wet, before debris
dries. Return screen after cleaning.
