Wearing appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), replace
Bag-in-a-Box container as follows:
1. Open Bag-in-a-Box compartment door. Raise locking plate to
release feed line connector.
2. Pull out feed line connector of identified container (about
25 mm [1”]).
3. Remove empty Bag-in-a-Box container. Dispose as follows:
a. Open box and remove bag.
b. Cut an opening in one of bottom corners of bag.
c. Rinse bag three times under running water (inside and
outside).
d. Dispose of bag in regular trash.
e. Box may be recycled if desired or thrown into regular trash.
4. Remove drip tray fitting.
5. Wash fitting under running water and dry with a lint free cloth.
6. To open new Bag-in-a-Box container, press along perforated
line.
NOTE: Do not tear off and remove the perforated cardboard flap.
7. Hold Bag-in-a-Box container upside down and pull out snap-on
closure.
8. Cardboard flap must be inserted in exterior groove of snap-on
closure (see Figure 6-4, Detail B).
9. Insert drip tray fitting into exterior groove of snap-on closure (see
Figure 6-4, Detail B).
NOTE: Drip tray fitting and cardboard flap must be inserted in the
exterior groove.
10. Place Bag-in-a-Box container on proper shelf (see Figure 6-3).
11. Pivot feed-line connector and connect it to snap-on-closure.
12. Pivot locking plate over feed line connector and secure plate
in feed line connector groove and locking pin groove (see
Figure 6-4, Detail C).
13. Close Bag-in-a-Box compartment door.
14. Press START touch pad to resume cycle. Display shows:
15. Once cycle is in progress, Klenzyme or CIP 200 cleaner injection
pump automatically injects a preprogrammed amount of cleaner
in solution.
