3. Remove front deck. (See “Front Deck” on page 8-19.)
4. Remove front lift cylinders. (See “Front Lift Cylinders”
on page 6-68.)
5. Remove front lift arms. (See “Front Lift Arms” on
page 8-21.)

WARNING
6. Block both sides of rear wheels using suitable wheel
blocks.
7. Raise the machine so front wheels are off the
ground. Place jackstands under the frame to support
the machine.
8. Remove front wheels. (See “Front Wheels” on
page 9-18.)
9. Remove brake caliper assembly. (See “Brake Caliper
Assembly” on page 9-20.)

10. Cut cable ties (2) and move hydraulic hoses (1, 3,
and 4) aside.

11. Support the front axle assembly (8) with a suitable
lifting device.
12. Remove six nuts (5), six flat washers (6), three
U-bolts (9) and remove front axle assembly (8) from
the frame (7).
Installation Notes
Install the front axle by reversing the order of
removal.
Use new cable ties (2) to secure hydraulic hoses (1,
3, and 4).
Tighten nuts (5) evenly in 5 lb-ft (6.8 N·m) increments
up to 50 lb-ft (67.8 N·m).
Support the machine using properly rated
jackstands. Never work under a machine
supported only by a jack.
Do not use wood or concrete blocks to
support the machine. Failure to properly
support the machine may result in death or
serious injury.
