NOTES
• Label all hydraulic hoses and tubes before
disconnecting to aid in installation.
• Close all openings with caps or plugs to prevent
contamination.
5. Disconnect hydraulic hoses (3 through 6).
6. Support the deck valve (1).
7. Remove the mounting screws (7) and washers (8).
8. Remove the deck valve (1).
Installation Notes
• Install the deck valve by reversing the order of
removal.
• Make sure new O-rings are in place before installing
hoses on fittings.
• Replace hydraulic oil return filter. (See “Hydraulic Oil
Return Filter” on page 6-67.)
• Refill hydraulic tank. (Refer to “Safety, Operation, and
Maintenance Manual” for oil specifications.)
• Start engine. Check hydraulic system for leaks.
Repair as necessary.
• Check hydraulic oil level and add if necessary.
Disassembly, Inspection, and Assembly
See Figure 6-71.
NOTE
Note orientation and position of all hydraulic hose fittings.
1. Remove all hydraulic hose fittings from the deck
valve.

2. Clean all parts using clean solvent, and dry using
compressed air.
3. Inspect all parts for wear or damage. Replace parts
as needed.
