1. Park the mower safely. (See “Park Mower Safely” on
page 1-6.)
2. Lower mowing decks to ground.
3. Allow the engine to cool completely.
4. Raise the hood.
Hydraulic Oil Cooler Removal
See Figures 3-17 and 3-18.
NOTE
Label all hoses before removing to ensure correct
installation.
1. Cycle the lift levers to relieve system of any hydraulic
pressure.

2. Disconnect hose (2) from fitting (1). Cap and plug
hose and fitting.
3. Disconnect hose (3) from fitting (4). Cap and plug
hose and fitting.
4. Remove two wing nuts (8), lock washers (9), flat
washers (5), hydraulic oil cooler spacers (6), and
screws (7).

5. While supporting the hydraulic oil cooler, remove the
two lock nuts (11), flat washers (12), hydraulic oil
cooler spacers (10), and screws (13).
6. Remove the hydraulic oil cooler (14).
Installation Note
Install the hydraulic oil cooler by reversing the order of
removal.
Engine Oil Cooler Removal
See Figure 3-19.
NOTES
• It is not necessary to remove the hydraulic oil cooler
to remove the engine oil cooler.
• Loosen wing nuts securing hydraulic oil cooler in
place and tilt out of the way.
• Label all hoses before removing to ensure correct
installation.
