16) Adjustment of Throttle Cable
(Basic Tiller Handle Model)
1. Set the throttle grip to its fully closed position.
2. Adjust the throttle cable 3 and tighten the nut 4 so that
the stopper a of the throttle drum 1 contacts the stopper
b of the throttle cable bracket 2.
3. Set the throttle grip to its fully open position.
4. Check that the stopper c of the throttle drum contacts the
stopper d of the throttle cable bracket 2.
If not contacting, adjust the throttle cable 5 and tighten
the nut 6.
Adjust cable tension so that the cable moves
approximately 2 to 3 mm when pushed lightly with
a finger.
