2) Installation of the Remote Control
Cable (Engine Side)
Remote Control Model
1. Release the latch attaching the bottom cowl and remove
the top cowl.
2. Remove the remote control stay cover 1 and the
grommet (upper) 2.
3. Remove the cable clip 3.
4. Remove the cover 4.
5. Screw about 12 mm (0.47 in) of the cable joint into the end
of the remote control cable.
