Programs 71 ~ 75 Overview
These programs are used to establish which station(s) are the member(s) of which group(s)
and are in turn, to ring with incoming DDI calls. See Program *09 to assign the DDI
telephone number for each group. There are five categories of incoming ringing that can be
allocated for incoming DDI calls to groups. These are: DAY IMMEDIATE (Program 71);
DAY DELAY 1-12 second delay (Program 72); DAY DELAY 2-24 second delay (Program
73); DAY2 IMMEDIATE (Program 74); and NIGHT IMMEDIATE (Program 75). Each
station (port) is assigned to receive incoming DDI calls on a per group basis. i.e. the port is
selected in system programming and the LED’s representing the group(s) the station is to be a
member of are lit. As described in Program *09, groups may contain one or more stations and
a station can be the member of more than one group. Stations can be assigned to be a member
of a group only after 12 or 24 seconds of incoming ringing, Day 2 or Night Service. If the
Night Service or three mode ringing (Program 10-2, LED 3 ON) features are used, when
invoked, any stations required to ring with incoming DDI calls to the relevant groups, must be
assigned to ring in Day 2 Immediate (Program 74), or Night Service (Program 75).
Busy tone will be returned to the caller when Night Service is invoked if stations have been
assigned to ring in Programs 71-73 but not Programs 74 and/or 75.
Important!
If a station is programmed to ring with incoming DDI calls in Programs 72 &
73 (Delay Options), but not Program 71, the call will follow the settings in
Program *17.
If more than one call to the same DDI number is to ring a station or stations in a group see
Program 31, LED 11 to enable call waiting for those stations.
