Program 55-1 and 2 Overview
Enter the digits/functions that must be added to the front of the number dialled in the Add
Digits Table. The maximum quantity of functions that can be entered is 22, a function can be
any one of the following:
By entering the digit from the keypad;
◆ A digit to be sent to line.
Or by pressing a specific LED (See System Record sheets for the specific key presses);
◆ A pause to be sent to line, (the system offers a selection of pre-determined pause lengths)
(LED’s 01 - 08).
◆ One of 8 authorisation codes to be sent to line (LED’s 12, 14 ~ 20).
◆ The station number of the extension making the call to be sent to line (LED 13).
◆ A conversion either at the beginning or during the string from DP to DTMF (LED 10).
◆ Sub-Address Information to be sent to line (LED 09).
Note
If a pause requires entering try to allow for the longest wait e.g. make the pause
longer rather than shorter, to accommodate the length of time a carrier may need to
access the service tones, etc.
The Authorisation Codes are entered from port 000, normally station 10 (see Program 05-6
for method of entry).
