1.6 Removing and installing engine speed
sender - G28-
Note
The engine speed sensor - G28- is located behind oil filter hous‐
ing. There is an opening in the oil filter housing so that the engine
speed sender - G28- can be removed.
Installation location of connector for engine speed sender - G28- :
on pipe for dipstick -arrow-.
Removing:
– Detach connector for engine speed sender - G28- -arrow-.
– Remove noise insulation ⇒ General body repairs, exterior;
Rep. gr. 50 ; Assembly overview - noise insulation .
– Move aside cable for engine speed sender - G28- .
– Undo bolt -A-.
– Remove engine speed sender - G28- downwards.
