Place camshaft timing chain »tightly« onto sprocket of high-
pressure pump and then bolt-on the guide rail -arrow-.
Further assembly is basically a reverse of the dismantling se‐
quence.
Install camshaft adjuster with camshaft timing chain
⇒ page 69 .
Install cylinder head cover and intake manifold ⇒ page 236 .
Note
It is not necessary to retighten cylinder head bolts after repairs.
