Check throttle position sen-
sor signal 1.
Execute the diagnostic
mode. (Code No. 01)
When the throttle valves are
fully closed:
A value of 12–21 is indicat-
ed.
When throttle valves are fully
open:
A value of 97–106 is indicat-
ed.
Check throttle position sen-
sor signal 2.
Execute the diagnostic
mode. (Code No. 13)
When the throttle valves are
fully closed:
A value of 9–23 is indicated.
When the throttle valves are
fully open:
A value of 94–108 is indicat-
ed.
An indicated value is out of
the specified range → Re-
place the throttle position
sensor.
Turn the main switch to “ON”.
Fault code number is not dis-
played → Service is finished.
Fault code number is dis-
played → Go to item 7.
7 Malfunction in ECU. Replace the ECU.
