ABS SELF-DIAGNOSIS FUNCTION
ABS warning light
The ABS warning light “1” comes on when a malfunction is detected by the ABS self-diagnosis. It is
located in the multi-function meter center display.
Instances when the ABS warning light comes on
1. The ABS warning light comes on when the main switch is turned to “ON”.
The ABS warning light remains on while the ABS is performing a self-diagnosis, then goes off if there
are no problems. The ABS self-diagnosis starts when the main switch is turned to “ON” and finishes
when the vehicle is ridden at a speed of approximately 10 km/h (6 mph). (Refer to “ABS warning
light” on page 1-20.)
