INSTALLING THE HANDLEBARS
1. Stand the motorcycle on a level surface.
Securely support the motorcycle so that
there is no danger of it falling over.
2. Install:
S throttle cables
S throttle grip
1
S right handlebar switch
2
Align the projection
a
on the right handlebar
switch with the hole
b
in the right handlebar.
3. Install:
S right handlebar
1
S right handlebar pinch bolt
2
S right handlebar bolt
3
4. Install:
S front brake master cylinder
1
S master cylinder holder
2
S Install the brake master cylinder holder
with the “UP” mark facing up.
S First, tighten the upper bolt, and then the
lower bolt.
S Align the mating surfaces of the brake master
cylinder holder with the punch mark

on the
right handlebar.
S There should be 8.2 mm (0.32 in) of clearance
between the right handlebar switch and the
brake master cylinder holder.
