Resetting Alarms
If there is an ALM (Servo Alarm) signal, use one of the following methods to reset the alarm
after eliminating the cause of the alarm.
The /ALM-RST (Alarm Reset) signal will not always reset encoder-related alarms. If you cannot
reset an alarm with the /ALM-RST signal, turn OFF the control power supply to reset it.

Note: Use Pn50B = n.X (/ALM-RST (Alarm Reset) Signal Allocation) to allocate the /ALM-RST signal to other
connector pins. Refer to the following section for details.

Resetting Alarms Using the Panel Operator
Simultaneously press the UP and the DOWN Keys on the Panel Operator.
Resetting Alarms Using the Digital Operator
Press the ALARM RESET Key on the Digital Operator. Refer to the following manual for details
on resetting alarms.

Be sure to eliminate the cause of an alarm before you reset the alarm.
If you reset the alarm and continue operation without eliminating the cause of the alarm, it may
result in damage to the equipment or fire.
