Press the MODE/SET Key to enter Utility Function
Mode.
2 Press the UP Key or DOWN Key to display Fn003.

Press the DATA/SHIFT Key for approximately one sec-
ond. The display shown on the left will appear.

Press the MODE/SET Key to turn ON the servo. The
display shown on the left will appear.

Press the UP Key to operate the Servomotor in the for-
ward direction.
Press the DOWN Key to operate the Servomotor in the
reverse direction.
The rotation direction of the Servomotor changes
according to the setting of Pn000 = n.X as
shown in the following table.
• Rotary Servomotors
Note: This is the direction when viewed from the
load side of the Servomotor.
• Linear Servomotors
Note: The direction in which the linear encoder counts up is
the forward direction. Refer to the following section
for details.

When the Servomotor origin search has been com-
pleted, the display will flash. At this time, the Servomo-
tor is servo-locked at the origin within one rotation of
the encoder.

Press the DATA/SHIFT Key for approximately one sec-
ond to return the display to Fn003.
8 Turn the power supply to the SERVOPACK OFF and ON again after you finish the origin search.
