6.3.10 CECT 11.1.5 Timer Programming
When “ALL TEST is selected, the tests for the test IDs are started. When a test ID number is clicked with the
mouse, only the selected test is started. The procedures for the tests performed with the VA-1842 are shown
below.

Connect the HDMI input of the DUT (TV) to the HDMI output of the VA-1842.

Set digital timer recording via the EPG.
Send <Timer Status> indicating that media is
available and recording has been programmed to the
DUT.
(Repeat this procedure with the logical address
changed to each of 1, 2, and 9.)
DUT sends <Set Digital Timer> with all
parameters corresponding to the program
that was selected.

Set analog timer recording via the EPG.
Send <Timer Status> indicating that media is
available and recording has been programmed to the
DUT.
(Repeat this procedure with the logical address
changed to each of 1, 2, and 9.)
DUT sends <Set Analogue Timer> with all
parameters corresponding to the program
that was selected.

Set digital timer recording via the menu.
Send <Timer Status> indicating that media is
available and timer programming has been set to the
DUT.
(Repeat this procedure with the logical address
changed to each of 1, 2, and 9.)
DUT sends <Set Digital Timer> with all
parameters corresponding to the timer that
was set.
