13 Technical Specifications

Function Specification
Interfaces
FXS Telephony
Supports 12 FXS interfaces (3 FXS modules, each providing 4 FXS RJ-11
ports).
Notes:
For this hardware configuration, no FXO interfaces are provided.
The FXS interfaces support loop-start signaling (indoor only).
FXO Telephony
Supports 12 FXO interfaces (3 FXO modules, each providing 4 FXO RJ-11
ports).
Notes:
For this hardware configuration, no FXS interfaces are provided.
The FXS interfaces support loop-start signaling (indoor only).
Combined FXS/FXO
Telephony
Supports a combination of 4 FXS and 4 FXO interfaces (1 FXS and 1 FXO
module, each providing 4 RJ-11 ports).

Gigabit Ethernet 100/1000Base-T (RJ-45) port for connecting to the IP
network.
Gigabit Ethernet
Supports 4 RJ-45 10/100/1000Base-T (Gigabit Ethernet) LAN ports for
connecting to IP phones, computers, or switches. These ports support half-
and full-duplex modes, auto-negotiation, and straight or crossover cable
detection.
These ports support Power over Ethernet (PoE), complying with the IEEE
802.3af-2003 standard. The ports automatically detect the presence of
IEEE 802.3af-compliant devices. The maximum wattage available per port
is 15.4W. The maximum wattage available for all ports (FE and GE)
combined is 50W.
Fast Ethernet
Supports 8 RJ-45 10/100Base-TX (Fast Ethernet) LAN ports for connecting
to IP phones, computers, or switches. These ports support half- and full-
duplex modes, auto-negotiation, and straight or crossover cable detection.
These ports support PoE, complying with the IEEE 802.3af-2003 standard.
The ports automatically detect the presence of IEEE 802.3af-compliant
devices. The maximum wattage available per port is 15.4W. The maximum
wattage available for all ports (FE and GE) combined is 50W.
