6.2 FITTING TILLER WITH ROTOR BLADE
WARNING
Always fit accessories with the engine off and power take-off control lever (R, Fig. 3)
in position “N” (power take-off disengaged). During assembly, always pay attention
to the working tools of the accessories.
NOTE
For assembling accessories, see chapter 14 OPTIONAL ACCESSORIES.
6.2.1 Turning the handlebar
To use the rotor blade, rotate the handlebar by 180°:
1. Separate the power take-off engagement lever from its mount (H, Fig. 11).
2. Detach the two brake control cables (S, Fig. 9, Fig. 10).
3. Pull the handlebar horizontal adjustment lever (I, Fig. 11) and turn the handlebar
counterclockwise through 180°.
WARNING
While rotating the handlebar, pay attention to the cables, which may become
stuck and get damaged.
4. Refit the power take-off engagement lever to its mount (H, Fig. 12).
5. Reattach the two brake control cables (S, Fig. 9, Fig. 10).
WARNING
Each time after rotating the handlebar, make sure the safety devices are in perfect
working condition.
To return the handlebar to the front tool configuration, repeat the handlebar
rotation operations in reverse.
Every time the handlebar is turned through 180°, be sure to reposition the forward/
reverse shuttle lever (Q, Fig. 13:
Position 1
Move the lever (Q, Fig. 13) down when using front implements.
Position 2 Move the lever (Q, Fig. 13) up when using rear implements.
6.2.2 Fitting the rotor blades without Quickfit
1. Remove the power take-off protective cover (A, Fig. 4). Grease the mating parts. Locate the
alignment pins (O) in the holes on the machine power take-off (see Fig. 14);
