• Never take the cap off the tank when the engine is running.
• Never use fuel for cleaning operations.
• Take care not to get fuel on your clothing. If you have spilled fuel on yourself or your
clothes, change your clothes. Wash any part of your body that has come in contact with fuel.
Use soap and water.
• Do not expose the fuel tank to direct sunlight.
• Keep fuel out of reach of children.

Always wear protective gloves during maintenance operations.
Fueling (Do Not Smoke!)
This product is powered by a 4-stroke engine. - Store and transport fuel in a clean container
approved for the purpose.
9.1.1 Gasoline engines
Recommended fuel: this engine is certified to operate on unleaded gasoline intended for
automotive use with an octane rating of 89 ([R + M] / 2) or higher. Never use stale or
contaminated petrol or an oil/petrol mixture. Avoid getting dirt or water in the fuel tank.
9.1.2 Diesel engines
• Use only recommended diesel fuel. The use of non-recommended fuel could cause damage
to the engine.
• The fuel in question could have a cetane number higher than 45, in order to avoid ignition
problems and prevent the emission of white exhaust gas.
• Fuels offered as alternatives to diesel are not recommended, as they could cause damage to
the components of the injection system.
• The fuel must be free of impurities and water, which could cause serious problems to the
fuel injectors and the fuel injection pump.
9.2 FILL-UP
9.2.1 Filling the fuel tank
WARNING
Follow the safety instructions given for handling fuel. Always switch off the engine
before refueling. Never attempt to refuel a machine when the engine is running or
still hot. Move to a distance of at least 3 m from the refueling area before starting
the engine. DO NOT SMOKE!
1. Clean surface around fuel cap to prevent contamination.
2. Loosen fuel cap slowly.
3. Carefully pour fuel into the tank. Avoid spillage.
