4. Prior to replacing the fuel cap, clean and inspect the gasket.
5. Immediately replace fuel cap and hand tighten. Wipe up any fuel spillage.

contact an Authorized Service Center.

9.3 ENGINE OIL TANK
Engine oil level
CAUTION
Running the engine with insufficient oil can cause serious engine damage. Be sure
to check the engine on a level surface with the engine stopped.
1. Remove the oil filler cap and check the oil level.
2. If the level is low, refill tank with oil. See engine manual.
Add the engine oil slowly to avoid overflowing, as the engine oil tank capacity is small.
If the engine is operated continuously, check the engine oil level and add oil every 10 hours of
use.
Use 4-stroke, or an equivalent high detergent, premium quality motor oil certified to meet or
exceed U.S. automobile manufacturer’s requirements for service classifications SG, SF. Motor oils
classified SG, SF will show this designation on the container. SAE10W-30 (diesel) and
(SAE15W-40) (gasoline) is recommended for general, all temperature use.
CAUTION
Using non-detergent oil or 2-stroke engine oil could shorten the engine’s service
life.
The recommended operating range of this engine is -20℃ to 30℃ (diesel) / -10℃ to 40℃
(gasoline).
