CAUTION
To position the Quickfit, the alignment pins must first be removed.
2. Locate the Seeger circlip (L) in the groove inside the joint (N, Fig. 14). Attach the coupling N
to the machine power take-off;
3. Fit the rotor blades (C, Fig. 15), making certain that the alignment pins (O)—fitted previously
to the power take-off—slide into the housing on the rotor blade coupling;
4. Secure the rotor blade with the two nuts (A, Fig. 15).
6.2.3 Fitting the wheels
Fit the wheels on the tiller hubs using the 4 bolts (G, Fig. 16).
WARNING
Make sure the arrow made by the tire tread pattern faces the direction of travel (A,
Fig. 16).
7 SAFETY DEVICES
WARNING
Do not tamper in any way with the safety devices.
WARNING
Do not use the machine if the safety devices are not in perfect working order.
To ensure maximum safety for the operator while working, the machine features the following
accident-prevention devices:
7.1 POWER TAKE-OFF OVERRIDE
Tillers are equipped with an automatic device, inside the transmission, which deactivates the
power take-off whenever reverse gear is engaged.
7.2 DEAD MAN LEVER (G, FIG. 43)
Emergency devices designed to immobilize the cutting tool and the machine whenever the
handlebars are released.
8 PRELIMINARY OPERATIONS
Before starting work, carry out a series of checks and operations on the machine to ensure
maximum safety and productivity.
