WARNING
Never lean over the cutting attachment guard. Stones, rubbish, etc. can be thrown
up into the eyes causing blindness or serious injury. Do not have anyone check the
machine while you are driving with the engine running. Stop the machine
immediately if anyone approaches.
WARNING
Sometimes branches or grass get caught between the guard and cutting
attachment. Always stop the engine before cleaning.
WARNING
Neither the operator of the machine nor anyone else may attempt to remove the
material from the tool while the motor is running or the cutting unit is rotating, as
this can result in serious injury.
12.4 ADJUSTING THE TRACK WIDTH
Wheels with adjustable flange allow adjusting the track width. Wheels are supplied in narrow
track configuration.
Configure the machine in wide track width.
Remove the flange (A, Fig. 41) and install it inside the anchor (E, Fig. 42) using bolts (B, Fig. 41)
and associated nuts (C, Fig. 41) and washers (D, Fig. 41).
Configure the machine in narrow track width.
Remove the flange (A, Fig. 41) and install it outside the anchor (F, Fig. 42) using bolts (B, Fig. 41)
and associated nuts (C, Fig. 41) and washers (D, Fig. 41).
13 MAINTENANCE
WARNING
Always wear protective gloves during maintenance operations.
Do not carry out maintenance with the engine hot. Maintenance should be done
with the engine off.
Failure to maintain or improper maintenance, removal or modification of safety
devices, and/or use of non-original spare parts, can cause serious or fatal injury
to the operator or third parties.
Do not use fuel (2-stroke mixture) for cleaning.
