14.5 FITTING THE COWLING
To fit the cowling, use the bolts (I), washers (L) and nut (M) supplied and previously
disassembled in the same order (see Fig. 69).
Pay attention to the possible presence of the spacer (N, Fig. 69) which should be mounted
between the cowling and the connecting rod in the front fastener.
WARNING
When tightening the bolts (I, Fig. 69) avoid rotating the inner tube of the silentbloc.
Such an oversight causes a preload on the rubber of the silentbloc itself, limiting its
life.
14.6 FITTING THE SHOES
Remove the 4 bolts (A, Fig. 70). Place the shoe (B, Fig. 71) below the cutter bar (C) at the holes.
Tighten the shoes with the four bolts previously disassembled. At the end, the assembly will
result as in Fig. 72.
Adjusting the height of the cutter bar (Fig. 73)
When mowing on rough terrain, adjust the cutting height of the cutter bar as follows:
Loosen the nuts (D).
Move the shoe (E) to the desired position.
Re-tighten the nut.
Carry out the adjustment on both shoes.
