14 OPTIONAL ACCESSORIES
WARNING
To adjust the working width of the rotor blades, contact an authorized service
workshop.
Working depth adjustment
To adjust the working depth, change the inclination of the central blade using the lever (A,
Fig. 57). To prevent the machine from skipping forward suddenly when working on hard
ground, set the central blade to the lowest position in the final hole.
14.1 MAINTENANCE
WARNING
Carry out maintenance operations with the machine stopped and the engine off.
Each time you use the rotor blade, make sure that:
1. The nuts securing the Quickfit or rotor blade body to the tiller are tightened fully and that
the Quickfit latch is rotated until it clicks into the tightened position.
2. All bolts and nuts securing the tiller blades are tightened fully.
3. The oil in the bevel gear box is at its correct level, i.e., almost full.
14.2 FITTING THE SUPPORT WHEEL
Insert the wheel (B) into the rotor blade wheel housing (C, Fig. 58), lock the wheel with the pin
(D, Fig. 58).
WARNING
When working, the wheel must be removed. The wheel must only be used for
support or for transferring the machine to the work area.
Fitting the linkage
On the linkage (A, Fig. 59), fit the pads (F, Fig. 59), grub (E), bolt and washer (D, Fig. 60). Then
fasten the linkage onto the bar using the bolts and washers (B, Fig. 59).
14.3 BAR AND CUTTER BAR DRIVES
Before fitting the drive onto the bar, make sure that:
1. The linkage (A) is firmly fastened on to the blade with the bolts (B, Fig. 59).
2. The space between the two pads (F, Fig. 59) installed on the linkage is greater than 33 mm,
to allow inserting the center pin (C, Fig. 60) installed on the drive. If there is not enough
space, loosen the bolt (D), and undo the grub (E) to allow the pad to move back (see Fig. 60).
