Operating Levels
The specification of operating levels varies
with different broadcasters. The options
below allow the user to set the mixer
operating levels to their own specification.
These settings should be correct, when
the mixer is delivered.
Analogue audio is measured in dBu and
digital audio is measured in dBFS. The
above parameters can be adjusted to
allow the user to set how the different
audio (analogue and digital) relate to
each other, and also how it relates to
the customer’s line up. Line up, usually
referred to as 0dB does not necessarily
mean 0dBu.
