5. Check the toe-in and then check the
steering angle using a turning radius gauge
(check when replacing the tie rod and
steering tie rod joint).
If the steering angle is incorrect, check
whether the lengths of the right and left
steering cross tie rods are consistent
(Figure "A").

Caution
If the length of the steering cross tie
rod is changed to adjust the steering angle,
the toe-in of the wheel must be rechecked.
Steering angle inward:38°, steering
angle outward: 32°
When checking the front wheel side slip
using the side slip tester:
Side slip limit value: less than 3mm/m
(less than 0.118in./3.3ft)
If the side slip exceeds this limit, the
front wheel toe-in or front wheel alignment
is incorrect.
