9.4.10 Brake pedal free height adjustment

Steps
1-U-ring for push rod
1. Check the free height "a" of the brake
pedal.
Free height "a" of the brake pedal from the
carpet: 170mm(6.69in.)
If the free height is not within the
specifications, check and adjust the
following items 2 and 3.
2. Check the dimension between the
mounting surface of the vacuum booster and
the center of the fork hole. If the push rod fork
of the vacuum booster is reinstalled, it is
important to adjust the dimensions.
Length “b”: 95.5-96.5mm(3.76-3.80in.)
Tightening torque:
(a):19N·m(1.9kg·m,14.0ft-lbs)
3. Detect the brake lamp switch position. If
the specified range is exceeded, adjust the
switch position.
