Power distribution and control system
9. Unscrew the fixing nuts on the positive and
negative wire harnesses of the MCU and the
outer side of the motor control unit-as shown by
the arrow-, disconnect the positive and negative
wire harnesses of the MCU-1-and remove them;
1. The installation sequence is the reverse of
the removal sequence.
15.4 Motor control unit assembly
15.4.1 Overview
The motor control unit assembly controls the transmission of energy from the power
battery pack to the motor, while collecting motor rotor position signal, motor winding
temperature signal, and three-phase current detection signal to accurately control the
operation of the drive motor. The motor control unit assembly is a device that can convert
the DC power in the power battery pack into AC power to the drive motor, and also convert
the kinetic energy of wheel rotation into electrical energy (AC power to DC power) to charge
the power battery. During the braking or taxiing phase of the vehicle, the motor is used as a
generator.
