11.5 Cooling pipeline system
11.5.1 Overview

• The refrigerant must be completely evacuated before performing maintenance on
the air conditioning refrigeration system pipelines.
• Use the special equipment to evacuate the refrigerant.
• Wear goggles and gloves when evacuating refrigerant.
• Maintain natural ventilation in the work area and turn on the exhaust device in the
workshop.
• After opening air conditioning refrigeration system pipelines, it is necessary to seal
it immediately to prevent moisture and dirt from entering.
• The pipeline sealing ring of the air conditioning refrigeration system is a disposable
component that is soaked with refrigerant oil before installation.
A kink or bend in the refrigeration pipeline system can reduce the flow of refrigerant,
resulting in a decrease in the cooling capacity of the air conditioning system.
11.5.2 Air conditioning compressor assembly
Tips for maintenance of air conditioning compressor
• If it is necessary to replenish refrigerant oil to the compressor, the specified
refrigerant oil must be used and must not be mixed with other types of refrigerant oil.
• Excessive refrigerant filling can cause bearing fault in the compressor.
• Only fill the refrigerant from the high pressure side of the compressor, otherwise the
internal components of the compressor will be damaged.
