6. Power drive
The accelerator pedal is one of the main
components for driving motor control. The driver
changes the stroke of the accelerator pedal by
operating the accelerator pedal. The accelerator
pedal sensor converts different position signals
of the accelerator pedal into analog voltage
signals. After the vehicle control unit receives the
pedal position signal, the vehicle control unit
transmits the signal to the motor control unit
through the CAN bus. The motor control unit
amplifies and processes the analog voltage
signal to obtain the torque signal of the drive
motor, and controls the drive motor to achieve
vehicle speed control. The accelerator pedal is
installed on the vehicle floor on the driver's side
under the instrument panel, between the steering
column and the A/C evaporator assembly
housing.
