8.2.5 Rear axle
Removal
Schematic diagram
Steps
1 - Rear axle; 2-Jack
1. Raise the vehicle.
2. Remove the rear wheels (right and left).
3. Support the rear axle with a jack.
1-Rear axle nut
4. Loosen the rivet points (right and left)
of the rear axle nut and remove the rear axle
nut.
5. Remove the brake caliper bolt and
remove the brake caliper.
△! Caution
Hang the brake caliper with a steel wire
hook to prevent the brake hose from being
excessively bent, twisted, or pulled off.
When removing the gasket, do not touch the
brake pedal.
6. Remove the rear brake disc.
