Always keep low voltage battery out of the reach of children.
1. Keep the low voltage battery cable posts clean.
Cable joints, especially at positive (+) terminals, are easily corroded. There is corrosion
or rust at the contact of the wire, which can hinder the flow of current.
Regularly clean the terminals and connectors to ensure good metal to metal contact.
After each cleaning, apply lubricating grease to the terminals to prevent rust.
2. Always have a clear understanding of the charging state of low voltage battery.
The simplest way to check the state of charge is to use the hydrometer method for
testing. A hydrometer is an instrument that measures the specific gravity of the electrolyte
of a low voltage battery. The state of charge can be known by measuring the specific gravity
of the electrolyte.

The power battery system is a unit that provides energy for electric vehicles, which
determines the vehicle's endurance. It mainly consists of four parts: power battery module
set, battery management system, power battery box and auxiliary components. The BMS is
powered by a low voltage 12V battery and includes the following components:
• Power battery module set: Its function is to convert electrical energy generated by
the on-board generator into chemical energy for storage, and then convert chemical energy
into electrical energy for use when needed.
Single battery: Also known as battery cell, it is the smallest unit that constitutes a
power battery module. Generally, it consists of positive electrode, negative electrode,
electrolyte and housing. It can realize direct conversion between electrical energy and
chemical energy, and store electrical energy.
• Battery management system: The core component of battery protection and
management. In a power battery system, its function is equivalent to that of a human brain.
