6.5 Setting the slant of the corner knife cuts

Proper setting
The incisions of the corner knives should be as close to the seam as pos-
sible, but must not cut the seam.

To set the slant of the corner knife cuts:
1. Iron a piece of Vlieseline onto the workpiece.
 This makes the corner knife cuts more visible.
2. Sew a test seam.
3. Check seam and cutting pattern.
4. Loosen the screw (1).
WARNING
Risk of injury from sharp parts!
Cutting possible.
Set the corner knives only when the sewing unit is
switched off.
