4.3 Setting the toothed belt tension
Use a commonly available frequency meter (60Hz) to set the toothed belt
tension.

When using a smartphone, you can download the Tension2Go app.
This free application measures the pretension frequency and the preten-
sion of industrial belts.
While not a substitute for pretension measuring devices, this app quickly
provides useful indications.

To set the toothed belt tension:
1. Slide the transport carriage all the way forward.
2. Slightly loosen the fastening screws (2) (3x) of the motor bracket.
3. Use the clamping screw (1) to set the toothed belt tension to 60Hz and
secure the clamping screw.
4. Re-tighten the fastening screws (2) (3x) of the motor bracket.
WARNING
Risk of injury from moving parts!
Crushing possible.
Only set the belt tension when the sewing unit is
switched off.
