10 Aligning the machine head

Proper setting
The offset surface (approximately 1.5 mm deeper) of the base plate (2) of
the machine head must be at the same level as the tabletop (1) along its
entire length.
To align the machine head:
1. Slide the transport clamps to the rear.
2. Raise the sliding plate (4) at the front and swivel it out to the left.
3. Check the height of the base plate (2).
WARNING
Risk of injury from moving parts!
Crushing possible.
Do not align the machine head unless the sewing
unit is switched off.
