Setting the pocket bag clamp
To set the pocket bag clamp (1):
1. The pocket bag clamp (1) is held in place by a magnet.
2. Use the magnet to adjust the clamping force.
The adjusting screw is seated below the tabletop.
Setting the bobbin case retainer
To set the bobbin case retainer (2):
1. Loosen the screws (7) on the clamping piece (6).
2. Set the height of the bobbin case retainer.
When the pedal is pressed, the extended piston rod must be barely in
contact with the fabric sliding plate.
3. Align the bobbin case retainer (2) to the rear (towards the machine
head).
The piston rod should keep clamped the hind trousers part, but not
the pocket bag underneath.
4. Tighten the screws (7) on the clamping piece (6).
5. Set the lowering speed of the bobbin case retainer (2) using throttle
valves (4) and (5).
The lowering motion should be rapid, but not abrupt.
