3.9 Hook
3.9.1 Setting the height of the hook shaft

Proper setting
The distance between the throat plate support (4) and the flange surface
of the hook shaft (1) must be 17.7 mm.
The exact height of the hook shaft is set using the gage (3) (part number
0244 001001).
To adjust the height of the hook shaft:
1. Remove the throat plate.
2. Remove both hooks ( p. 56).
WARNING
Risk of injury from moving parts!
Crushing possible.
Do not check and adjust the height of the hook
shaft unless the sewing unit is switched off.
