8.3 Setting the light barrier for the flap
The light barrier for the flap is set at the OP7000 control panel ( p. 207).
8.4 Aligning the air nozzles for cleaning the reflecting foils
The light barrier fixture is equipped with air nozzles for cleaning the reflect-
ing foils from dust and fluff.

Proper setting
The air nozzles must be aligned in such a way that the air stream is direct-
ed towards the reflecting foils while the transport clamp moves to the load-
ing position.
The transport clamps must be aligned correctly with the folder sole ( p. 90).
To align the air nozzles for cleaning the reflecting foils:
1. Open the menu Service > Multi test > Multi test I/O
and select the output element Y3 ( p. 274).
2. Advance the transport clamps into the area of the air nozzles.
3. Lift the transport clamps using Y21/Y22.
4. Slightly loosen the screws (1).
5. Turn the air nozzle holder in such a way that the air stream hits the
reflecting foil.
Do NOT shift the light barrier position.
6. Select output element YC106.
7. Re-tighten the screws (1).
