5.5 Setting the blowing of the piping strips

The optional kit 0755 590804 for blowing is available for clamp K35
(method A). Furthermore, blast pipes are integrated in the folding plates
and the flap clamps. The blowing of the piping strip/pocket bag may be
necessary in case of thin fabrics and/or high piping projection.
Proper setting
The air stream escaping from blast pipes (2) and (3) must be adjusted in
such a way that the piping strip (1) is sufficiently blown on the pick-up fold-
er (8) and safely guided into the guide plates.
To set the blowing of the piping strips:
1. In the menu Program parameters > Program loading process
> Pedal mode press the button ( p. 233).
2. In the menu Program parameters > Program loading process
> Blowing mode set mode 2 ( p. 230).
3. Position piping and pocket bag.

(2) - Blast pipe pocket bag
(3) - Blast pipe piping strips
(4) - Clamping screw
(5) - Throttle valve flap clamp
(6) - Line blow-out (folding plate and flap clamp)
(7) - Throttle valve folding plate
(8) - Pick-up folder
