14.1.3 Setting the position of the stacker tongs and closing the tongs

Proper setting
When the cylinder (1) is extending, the disk (3) reaches the sleeve (4) after
~42mm.
This is the foremost position of the stacker tongs (5). When the cylinder (1)
moves further past this position, the stacker tongs close and clamp the
sewing material.
The front position and the closing of the stacker tongs (5) are manipulated
by the position of the disk (3).
To set the position of the stacker tongs and close the stacker tongs:
1. Loosen the nut (2).
2. Set the disk (3).
• To reduce the distance between disk and sleeve: Increase the
clamping pressure
• To increase the distance between disk and sleeve: Reduce the
clamping sleeve
3. Tighten the nut (2).
Information
When creating the pocket program, you can determine the “Position of the
transport clamp after sewing” and adjust the position of the stacker tongs.
