12.1 Assembling the folder

Proper setting
The folder (3) must be pushed upward until it abuts on the clamping
piece (5).
The pin (1) must be seated in the hole of the actuating lever (2).
To assemble the folder:
1. Loosen the screw (4).
2. Slide the folder (3) up as far as it will go.
3. Tighten the screw (4).
WARNING
Risk of injury from moving parts!
Crushing possible.
Do not assemble and disassemble the folder
unless the sewing unit is switched off.
