To set the middle knife height:
1. Turn the middle knife (1) with the eccentric on the drive motor to the
bottom dead center.
2. Loosen the screws (3).
3. Adjust the height of the middle knife (1).
4. Tighten the screws (3).
5. Loosen screws (7) and (8).
6. Move the knife holder (6) with the middle knife (1) to the left against
the stationary knife in the throat plate.
The middle knife must abut in parallel position and with slight pressure.
7. Tighten screws (7) and (8).
8. Carry out a cutting test.
9. To correct the position of the middle knife, slightly turn the middle knife
drive rod (5) counterclockwise until it is in cutting position.
