1. From the SETUP menu, scroll down and select the Set Sequences menu.
2. Scroll down and select BP Start Opons.
3. Select BP Start Mode...
4. Select Manual.
The booster can then be started and stopped using the MB menu item from the
Commands menu. Refer to How to run the booster independently from the dry pump on
page 158.
Note:
If booster is manually controlled and dry pump is stopped then the booster will connue
running.
9.7.2 Changing the booster me delay
The me delay for starng the booster in automac mode can be congured using the
BP start delay menu item to between 1 and 200 seconds.
Note:
It is not recommended to set the delay to less than 20 seconds when the booster is
starng aer the dry pump.
9.7.3 Seng the booster to start when the inlet isolaon valve is open
To reduce energy consumpon the booster can be congured to only run when the inlet
isolaon valve is open. The inlet isolaon valve automacally opens when the dry pump
is on‑process and is closed in Green mode/standby mode.
To congure the booster to only be on when the inlet isolaon valve is open, use the BP
delay aer menu item and set the opon to Isol valve.
9.8 How to congure pump behaviour
9.8.1 Smart Stop
The pump has a congurable intelligent shutdown behaviour mode called Smart Stop.
When Smart Stop is enabled, the speed of the pump is ramped down gradually to allow
the pump to cool down before stopping. The intenon is to allow condensible process
chemicals to be pumped away without jamming the pump mechanism.
